  Re: Acronym FAQ Updated

(...) Ya! Thanks. I agree with Mags, keep them all. Your marking of common and uncommon is distinction enough. Even the unused ones are interesting curiosities. (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Acronym FAQ Updated

(...) If you don't mind I'd like to speak up in favor of keeping some of the acronyms on your italicized list, in particular CMIIW, KABOB and KFOL. CMIIW isn't *that* uncommon, and if you count in the posts which use the more formal CMIIAW, which I (...) (22 years ago, 10-Oct-02, to lugnet.faq)

  Re: Acronym FAQ Updated

(...) Thanks for the update, Shiri! I've used this several times so it's definitely handy! But please note, RBR is also an acronym for "Royal Briktorian Regiment", which is only used commonly in .loc.au, but is nonetheless an acronym! (URL) (22 years ago, 8-Oct-02, to lugnet.faq)

  Acronym FAQ Updated

Hi guys and gals, Following an email update with some new acronyms (thanks Bruce!), I realized the LEGO acronym FAQ needed a serious update. (...) Hendo, The fun begins at: (URL) No instructions necessary...it leads you right through, and couldn't be any easier. Peace and Long Life, Tony Alexander (22 years ago, 7-Oct-02, to lugnet.faq)

Re: How does one make a poll?

(...) I've been wondering for a while too, and I don't know why there doesn't appear to be a link anywhere to this. Anyway, I did a search on "Poll New Todd" and found this thread: (URL) doesn't have full instructions, but it gives a link to create (...) (22 years ago, 3-Oct-02, to lugnet.faq)

How does one make a poll?

Well, I stumbled (rather accidentally) into the polls page... (URL) have now completed all polls to date, excepting those for which I simply didn't have an answer (such as those where "I don't know" or "other" were not options on a subject I didn't (...)   Re: How to start on Lego® trains. What to buy? Which system? // For train FAQ

(...) Wow, that looks great. A few corrections/comments (...) The above is from the FAQ, and I don't thing the last line is correct. I don't have my 12v motor handy (still haven't unpacked since the move), but I think the brass contacts on the motor (...) (22 years ago, 1-Sep-02, to lugnet.faq)

Re: How to start on Lego® trains. What to buy? Which system? // For train FAQ

(...) I haven't looked at the trains FAQ in a while because, after all, I know everything already. At least some people say I'm a know it all anyway. :-) But wow...
