Re: Huge Fabuland display at Brickfest

(...) If I am not mistaken, the Fabuland guy had WamaLug printed on his name badge. Either that or I just noticed he had a local Virginia address on his badge. So, someone in WamaLug or WamaLTC should know who he is. I spoke with him during tear (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.fabuland)

Re: Huge Fabuland display at Brickfest

Sheree, The Fabuland display was the work of one gentleman. As I had a laptop and a printer on site, he asked me to make him a sign for it. The sign read "Entire Tow For Sale" and had his phone number. Unfortunately, neither Mark's pictures nor my (...) (21 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.fabuland)

(...) The giant evil cat was stalking Chris Giddens after we left the Deli. Fortunately, we were able to distract it by combining all our pocket lint into a large ball. -Grand Admiral and Keeper of Fleebnorks (URL) "Adopt a fleebnork. They're (...)   Huge Fabuland display at Brickfest

A very reliable source mentioned in an email that there was a "huge Fabuland Display at Brickfest this year. Wahoo!!! This sent me on a search at Brickshelf to see if anyone had taken some pictures of it. Thank you, Mark Sandlin for these pictures! (...)   Re: Alumni of the Austrailian Fab Purchase Group

(...) Always great to hear what you've been up to Frank. It pleases me to know that some Fabuland is appearing at various festivals and conventions. It can give a creation an unexpected humorous punch and bring a smile or even evoke a chuckle. If (...) (21 years ago, 7-Aug-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

Re: Alumni of the Austrailian Fab Purchase Group

I wasn't in on this, and haven't really done much with Fabuland, however: - A Fabuland Walrus did captain a ship in Evil Stevie's Pirate Game at GenCon. Who knows what he might do at BrickFest. - A Fabuland bunny (actually I think it was Sheree's (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

Hoping everyone is okay and wondering what everyone has done/built with his or her share. I would love to hear. Any pictures? I have had to put my Lego aside due to some added family responsibilities, but just oogling my share has given me great (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: Fabuland bottle?

(...) It doesn't look like anything I've seen. There is a Scala wine bottle that fits on a stud, but it is shaped differently, and has always been a solid color (usually a light greyish blue). It's also a softer plastic. Somehow I suspect Playmobile (...) (21 years ago, 1-Aug-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: Fabuland bottle?

(...) If if is Lego, it is not Fabuland Lego. On Sybrand Bonsma's Unoffical Fabuland Homepage there is section listing all the Fabuland elements/parts made, giving pictures of each. A bottle is not shown. (URL) is a wine jug EH1, which has since (...) (21 years ago, 1-Aug-03, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Fabuland bottle?

Hi, I got a Fabuland refrigerator in a lot from eBay Germany. In the fridge was a trans-green bottle, together with the food tiles. The bottle fits perfectly on a Lego stud, but I don't know if it's actually Lego - it could maybe be a clone?. (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 1-Aug-03, to lugnet.fabuland)
