  Is anyone bringing any Fabuland?

Is anyone bringing any Fabuland figures, sets for display, or MOCs? I would hate to think that my favorite theme would not have some sort of representation at BrickFest(tm) 2002. : - ( I realize that on the list of what attendees do with their Lego (...)   Re: post 375, but no content

(...) Interesting...Posting for the sake of....Posting!!! :) Benjamin Medinets, whose only Fabuland part is the black cauldron/pot that came with the Night Lords Castle and a few other castle sets. (22 years ago, 6-May-02, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: 1979-1990

(...) What criteria should one use to determine the end year of a theme? Is it the last year new sets of that theme are released/produced? or is it the last year a theme is pictured in a Lego Company Catalogue? Re Fabuland dates- I don't think (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: 1979-1990

(...) That's right. The display hardly seems authoritative. A minifig fireman with no torso printing/sticker and a Captain Redbeard with no epaulettes? I don't think such minifigs have ever appeared in sets... The setup and labelling of the display (...) (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.fabuland)

  Re: 1979-1990

(...) I would like to query the accuracy of the dates from Billund...the mini-fig stiffs were available from 1975-1979/1980, yet only 1975 is shown, so it is quite possible the dates for fabuland are also wrong... Benjamin Whytcross (23 years ago, 20-Feb-02, to lugnet.fabuland)

  1979-1990

I always thought Fabuland's time span to be 1979-1989. Well, I was wrong about the end date being 1989. It was 1990. 1990 Chinese? catalogue (URL) the ultimate evidence is in a picture taken by Osamu Furusawa of a showcase at Billund. (URL) (23 years ago, 19-Feb-02, to lugnet.fabuland)
