  Re: Brickfest question

Crossposted to events.brickfest since I THINK you're asking about BrickFest PDX not NWBrickCon. (...) As to your questions ... Some reading of the archives of events.brickfest might be helpful in giving more detail... I don't want to sound (...)   Brickfest question

I have never attended a brickfest event. I am thinking about attending PDX2004 with my two children. I have two boys that will be 8 and 4 when the event occurs. We will have to travel 8 hours (if good weather) to attend but it is not possible for us (...) (21 years ago, 3-Dec-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

  NWBrickCon Animation Competition Review

Sorry about the delay. I've had a ton of stuff to do... but here we go! The Animation Competiton ran as follows: first, my personal film made for the convention, The Fellowship of the Snake-Fearing Jedi, was shown to set the mood and give an example (...)   Re: NWBrickCon Animation display

(...) I provided the computer hardware for the animation festival (my TabletPC actually survived the multi-mon media decoding :) There were only 3 entries if I'm not mistaken - a 4th film was created by Seth Rotkin for a comedic introduction to the (...)   NWBrickCon Animation display

Did anyone watch the animation display at NWBrickCon? There hasn't been much feedback, and the folks who submitted films are keen to know how they went down. Anyone? (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

  Biomechanical Bricks Tour Redux

(...) I made it back home. :o (URL) After many miles, hours of music, me, my mecha, my bots and bricks returned to common ground. The trip out to Seattle began with a stop in Pittsburgh Pa, where I met up with Brian Smith and Family. Chopped wood (...) (21 years ago, 17-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, FTX) !!

  NWBrickCon people photos and thanks

At long last I've posted my photos to the NWBrickCon. See the link below for the moderated folder. I've chosen to include lots of pictures of people so you can see who some of our fellow AFOL's are. I thought the BrickCon was great fun and it was (...) (21 years ago, 16-Oct-03, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

Re: The Great American Biomechanical Bricks Northern USA Tour 2003

When a big name like Eric Sophie comes for a visit, you've got to show him a warm welcome. And nothing says welcome more than packing him, your wife, 2 cats, the dog, and yourself into the car for a vet visit. Many thanks for the extra hands, Eric. (...)   My obligatory NWBC post - too much fun for just one weekend

Hey all, I finally had some alone quiet time to do the picture thing. My images of all of NWBC, as well as a bit of our (Eric Sophie and me) roadtrip, are now online. (...) Eric's on the road again. He just left my place, headed for Felix Greco's. We went and had dinner with my mom and sister last night, and knocked a few back at my local tavern.   Re: Classic Wars: The Battle Between Good and Shpleem

(...) Good fun! Like Tim said, the timing is a little off 'cause it changes frames just after all the text visualize on some of them. A word of warning for non-broadband users; The file is ~25.2MB! (zipping it it became 24.8MB). (21 years ago, 10-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha)

Re: Classic Wars: The Battle Between Good and Shpleem

(...) Well played. Very funny! :-) A small bit of feedback on the slide show - it went a little too fast to read the captions and see all that was going on in the image. Perhaps slow it down a couple seconds? -Tim (21 years ago, 10-Oct-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.space, lugnet.build.mecha, FTX)
