Re: BrickFest 2007 —Aaron M. Sneary
(...) And that's my problem with this event.... and with the direction many of the AFOL events have been leaning. Don't get me wrong, I love kids, and want them to know how cool LEGO is. I worked for LEGOLAND so I could show them. But I don't pay (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

(...) Sigh...I don't know what is that makes you continually speak out of ignorance. It's no secret though, where your thinly veiled bias lies. Your stance is already public record. Nice venues and cost money. New events don't have the luxury of (...) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: Brickworld Info (was BrickFest 2007) —Bryan Bonahoom
(...) Aaron, You took your sentence quote from our post out of context. There was more to the sentence. And, while it may not have been clear to you, giving the children of Chicago a great show to watch was only 1/2 the goal. The other half was to (...)          Re: Brickworld Info (was BrickFest 2007) —Aaron M. Sneary
(...) I didn't mean to take it out of context. I was simply pointing it out as my point of concern. And it did come first in the sentence, which could be read as suggesting importance. And I appreciate you reiterating to me and the crowd the (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: Brickworld Info (was BrickFest 2007) —Dan Brown
I for one am looking forward to Brick World. I am opening the toy museum featurning LEGO in 2007. I am going to use that venue as a opening blow out. I was hoping for Brick Fest, but I cannot see anyone coming from the west coast to see my little (...) (18 years ago, 14-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

        Re: BrickWorld costs —David Gregory
(...) Registration for BrickWorld is actually $60. (<https://registrati...us/?m=info BrickWorld registration info>) A small difference, I know.        (...) Well you do know, David that I could engrave name over multiple spanned bricks so size of letters could be more in keeping with size of badge. lol Tommy Armstrong (URL) (18 years ago, 12-Jan-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Re: BrickWorld costs —Aaron M. Sneary
(...) Sorry, I was making a rough estimation on AFOL cons in general. I'm glad that you guys are thinking along those lines, and willing to allay those concerns. (...)
