The issue here is that it is a rather delicate subject. Bill is correct,
many of the offerings were greeted by healthy applause. There were
significant issues, however, with the way things unfolded. I know a number
of people were frustrated that the animation screening was a plenary session
rather than a highlights (with the screening happening in advance and only
the winners shown), and that it ran significantly over the scheduled 1 hour,
causing other activities to be seriously impacted.
Technically, using a VHS tape was a vast improvement, it meant that all
entries were viewable.
I do not have the winners list, you'll have to rely on Todd to get that for you.
