  Re: What a fest!!!!

(...) I'm still all aglow from Brickfest 2005! It is so wonderful to put faces with the names of old, yet new friends. And of course it is great to be able to talk, in person, with old friends. (...) My thanks to you as well! Your lighthearted and (...) (19 years ago, 16-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

BrickFest was GREAT! (and this is long...)

  Re: What a fest!!!!

(...) This was my first BrickFest, but I have to agree, It Was Fantastic!! (...) You can't fool us - those off-the-wall comments were actually brief glimpses into the inner workings of Larry's brain ;-) (...) As one of the folks deeply involved (...)   What a fest!!!!

I'm still overwhelmed at how awesome this fest was, I'm late for the road this morning, we have miles to go before we get to our next amusement park but it's way past due that something was said! I want to say thank you to each and every one of you (...) (19 years ago, 16-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX) !

  Re: Brickfest 2005 Questions

(...) Thanks for the reply Frank. Though I read the previous posts on BrickFest, your reply helped elucidate some details. Now I wonder how I can get a hold of the DVD! I did not see any details posted on it (perhaps I missed it). (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: Brickfest 2005 Questions

(...) Yes and no. Much more detail was given on LEGO Factory. More future product information than ever before ("Technic palette by mid next year" [per Larry's post in lugnet.trains] - no more of Brad's canned response of "No theme is dead."). (...) (...)   Brickfest 2005 Questions

I was wondering if someone could help with the following questions: 1. were there any new products previewed (like last year) 2. there was a S@H code provided to buy some bulk items at a good discount, were there any such thing this year? 3. Any (...) (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Great show!

Congratulations and thanks to everyone on the BrickFest team. I didn't get to stay as long (or arrive as early) as I would have liked, but I enjoyed every minute I was there. One small suggestion for next year: I think BrickFest has outgrown its (...) (19 years ago, 15-Aug-05, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)
