    Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE —Adrian Drake
I'll be toting along at least 2 modules. The Tycho Brahe Hotel and the Dark Side Nightclub will both be there. I have ideas for two more modules, but I don't know if I'll have the time to build them. So expect at least 2, but maybe as many as 4. I'm (...)         Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE —Mike Petrucelli
(...) If I am not mistaken (from what I have read) that was going to be the largest central module. Well, I am very near complete in taking my entire collection apart and having it sorted. I just might be able to build a large starport module with a (...) (21 years ago, 23-Apr-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

         Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE —Adrian Drake
(...) It wasn't really the 'central' module, but was going to be a pretty dramatic part of it, yes. The plan was to have Spaceman Mountain situated somewhere in the back center of a large c-shaped layout, with the monorail passing (...) Would everyone like to see something that large: 1. with four complete sides with minimal access to the interior or 2. with 1 open side (faceing the back of the layout) so all of the (...)          Re: What is everyone's opinion (was Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE) —John P. Henderson
(...) I think it depends on what you have for pieces and time. If you do it open on one side, then I assume you will want to fill the interior with some subterranean stuff (I picture a lower level with some of those sad faced LOM guys slaving in a (...)          Re: What is everyone's opinion (was Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE) —Mike Petrucelli
(...) Well I will be using nearly my entire collection which I am almost complete in taking apart and sorting. As for time, well this is my summer project, which should be done in time for brickfest. (...) I was going for a massive spaceport rather (...)          Re: What is everyone's opinion (was Re: BRICKFEST MOONBASE) —Spencer Nowak
(...) Great idea. I think it would be cool to have it built on 2 or 3 levels of BURPs to set it off from the other stuff. That would have the mining area, and above you could have a big spaceport deal like modern airports, with "gates"to landing (...)    ---...--- (...) ---...--- There is a guy on B-shelf that just posted a mountain-ish moonbase here... (URL) am guessing that is not the idea you had in mind. Or is it?
