Re: My random thoughts and comments on Brickfest 2002

(...) I actually rather like Scott's idea. The problem with implementation, of course, is that the "master class" wouldn't be especially large now given that this was only our second year with a major, formal slate of awards--and if you give people (...)   Re: Pictures are up

(...) Just to quickly answer, it was never really formally announced, but it's been under construction for the last 6-8 months or so, and semi-intentionally made its debut at BrickFest 2002. (Tho there may have been some whisperings in the NELUG (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.starwars)

  Build Room (K8)

I'd like to point out that the build room (K8) was running out of display space toward the end. That's a measure of success. I took lots of pictures, watch for them. There were a couple ideas tossed out for Build Room Activities next year. Mostly (...) (22 years ago, 22-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Animation at BrickFest (and Beyond...)

It’s been really interesting to observe (and be part of) the growing interest in LEGO-based animation over the last couple of years.
