I always thought a good idea or rule of thumb would be to have one per season, so that would be 4 per year. One for each corner of the continental USA, if we are talking Fests for the Americas. However, with the space the PDX folks have, I can see (...) (18 years ago, 10-Dec-06, to lugnet.events)

Hi all, Through some luck (and some cheap airfare) I decided to go to an overseas convention this year - Bricking Bavaria, to be exact. The display begins today, and there was setup all last night (and I mean ALL last night). The group of attendees (...) (...) No. It's not meant to replace anything. It is located within driving distance of a much larger percent of the country, so some day it may grow into one of the "main" summer events.
