That's great idea. What would get me into building trains would be parts to make a proper steam engine. (...) No need to flame. I think the answer is that the Legends line is driven by what kids will buy, not AFOLs. With SW kits out, I don't think TLC can put out classic space. Stopped at the LEGO Imagination Center at the Mall of America today, and picked up a couple of the new Harry Potter sets. Much to my surprise, the first one I opened had a mistake in it! The brick sets now are terrific. The green and gray 1x1s are there. The brown ones? The brown ones are in Werewolf Ambush - four of them in the tree. I'm getting all the brown 1x4s I need, too. I don't know if Lego has been listening to us about (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

I picked up 12 of the 4107's last night at Target. 1000 pieces for $19.99. :) All in all a great bulk assortment. Only a few printed pieces, and they include light grey and dark grey parts as well. The only thing I was a little disappointed about (...) (22 years ago, 19-Sep-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

With both plates and bricks (depending on type of mosaic), he simply makes a nice thick (5+ studs wide) flat border, the same (...) First of all, I've never gotten a mosaic(the greyscale thing was kind of a turn off), so I didn't know it included pieces for a frame. Now I see that it does have a frame - more of a border in my opinion. Secondly, I kind of had in mind fancier (...)
