When I saw this thread, I remembered a series of conversations I had with a lego store manager.[1] Here is a summerized version of it: ---...---Week 1: Tuesday HER: Hello, Lego (TYPE) Store, (LOCATION).   Re: LEGO software idea

(...) You would think that Lego should try to capitalize on some of the more obvious accessories for their kits like custom stickers to "enhance the uniquity of the modelmaking experience", but instead, they stick to lame, and sometimes ideas with (...)   Re: Umm, Legoland CA - are you there? (Re: Announcing the next LEGO Modelmaking Experience at LEGOLAND W

I'm sure they know we want this in America, but I don't think it is possible. Last I knew, all the models for the California Park were being built in England. If this is true then there just aren't any master builder workspaces at the LL CA. And no (...) (22 years ago, 1-Jun-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.dear-lego)

  LEGO software idea

LEGO should partner with Avery or some other maker of printable sheets of stickers to produce a kit that people can use to make LEGO-compatible stickers. Imagine an 8x5"x11" sheet of minifig-torso- shaped stickers! It would come with a CD-ROM with (...) (22 years ago, 31-May-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Umm, Legoland CA - are you there? (Re: Announcing the next LEGO Modelmaking Experience at LEGOLAND W

WHY OH WHY can something like this not happen at Legoland, California? Are we not special? Do you think there is not a market for this? Do you think we do not want it? The thing that gets me is this is not their first one. I *wish* I could be there. (...) (22 years ago, 30-May-02, to lugnet.legoland.california, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: collector's minifig packs

Yikes! The return of bad poetry night on Lugnet! I love minifig packs -- I am not as keen on the bizarro-world collector type figures with stands and cards. -- Hop-Frog (22 years ago, 23-May-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

RE: What about this for a new RCX 2.5 setup?

I'd be happy with a good "official" LEGO SONAR sensor and a fixed version of the LEGO Rotation Sensor (without the lost "clicks" bug) On the RCX side, I'd like a RCX 3.0 with 6+ sensor inputs and more outputs (and more RAM.
