  Re: 1x5, why not?

(...) According to the instructions for 956, there is supposed to be a 1x5 brick in red (#5 at bottom of page): (URL) course no one has ever seen that piece in real life :) KL (22 years ago, 24-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

There are 1x5 and 2x5 bricks in the Modulex system. -Henry (22 years ago, 22-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  1x5, why not?

Why hasn't anyone, in the 50+ years that the lego brick has been in existence, created a 1x5 or 2x5 piece? Dave. (22 years ago, 21-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: WHY CAN'T I VOTE??

(...) Looks like you're using Mozilla/Netscape? Try using MSIE 5 or better-- could be your version doesn't quite work with thier secure server (after the password screen is apparently https). Or I suppose it could be your OS/browser combo NT doesn't (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

  WHY CAN'T I VOTE??

Dear Lego.. i go to "my opinions" i enter my name and password i get: " There is nothing wrong with your computer screen. Unfortunately you have encountered an error on our website. We ask you to go back to the home." WHAT IS WRONG? Is it my (...) (22 years ago, 19-Apr-02, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

Dave Lovelace wrote in message ... (...) mMMM, GREAT IDEA! (oops caps lock!)   Technic I.M.S.

Dear Lego.... How about a line of interconnecting I.S.S. (Internat'l Space Station) Technic sets? There's going to be dozens of interconnecting parts of the ISS eventually...I'm sure collectors would love to buy every part and make their own ISS in (...)   New Fenders (Mudguard)

I've often wondered why LEGO has never come out with mudguards for 6-wide vehicles. I know that it would involve making a new mold and such. But as long as a new mold is required, a good solution would be to create a mudguard with a 2 x 2 footprint, (...) (22 years ago, 11-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Let's vote for a Bulk Catalog!

While you're at it why dontcha just make an entire AFOL based catalog/magazine!? How about something for the professional Lego modeler? I think Lego company has to seriously begin considering the adult market or they're going to lose many fans from (...) (22 years ago, 7-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Who's going to buy a Lego Computer?

(...) Whaddathey mean 'Lego computers for *kids*'? But just think... If its true to the Lego philosophy, everything will be compatible with everything else! Plug the LAN cable into the power socket, it don't matter :) (22 years ago, 6-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Who's going to buy a Lego Computer?

See the second paragraph: (URL) don't know about you, but I think this might just be taking diversification a bit too far. Think of the support issues for a start :-( Antony. (22 years ago, 5-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Help Get Brickshelf Instructions on www.lego.com

It wasn't THAT unreadable. I saved the original jpgs and tweaked the contrast, and it was easy enough to build the Street Sensation. But yes, it WOULD have been nice if the pics were twice the size or larger. (...) -- Tom Stangl ***(URL) Visual FAQ (...) (22 years ago, 3-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Let's vote for a Bulk Catalog!

XPFUT from .lego to .dear-lego This is a *great* idea. A catalog solely comprised of LEGO Bulk and LEGO Direct items. Right now, there are too few items offered from bulk to merit such a step, but when more parts become available (like basic bricks (...) (23 years ago, 2-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Bring back the old

(...) I'm 13, and i would NOT do as u say, i hate Bionicle, i would love if they reproduce some old sets(specially castle). (23 years ago, 1-Apr-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Bring back the old

(...) I agree 100% from the aesthetic standpoint--I'd *love* to have the older style helmets. But I somehow don't think that mold is likely to see service again. (I hope beyond hope that I am wrong!) But yes, Classic Space without the older (...) (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Bring back the old

(...) I got a bunch of those old style helmets myself. Luckily, since I never really tok out my classic space sets, most of my helmets are in good condition. Just my two brickz... <<_Matt Hein_>> Lugnet member No. 1112 (23 years ago, 30-Mar-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Dear Lego, I would like some Lego 'Oranges'... please :)

Yep, that's right! Oranges as in the fruit, this would be cool, they could be the size of the apple without the stems. Belville/Scala... whatever... doesn't matter... just my Minifigs need some other sorce for Vitamin C ;) If you do this, I will (...) (23 years ago, 29-Mar-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Bring back the old

(...) I'm sure we've had this discussion before, and as with most things I'm probably in the minority, but for me those thin helmets were/are as integral to classic space as the planet insignia or the indomitable smiley faces. If there is no other (...) (23 years ago, 28-Mar-02, to lugnet.dear-lego)
