 Dear LEGO / 3602 (-10)
Re: WHY SO LONG ON Light Gray?

No, you are mistaken. These ideas were forecast in the original Lego Direct plan from April 2000 that was ahead of its time. As for the "please make bleen colored googlewhatsit" posts on Dear Lego, you should understand those in the context: wishful (...) (23 years ago, 14-Dec-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Cool! The first interesting/serious ideas about bulk. So refreshing after all those "Dear Lego, I want you to make part x in colour y available in bulk"..... Duq Timothy D. Freshly <timfreshly@shaheenlaw.com> wrote in message (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: WHY SO LONG ON Light Gray?

(...) Some quick math: 1,000 of any Lego piece (not mass marketed and priced minimally like the 3033) would probably cost at least $0.05 per piece, yes? That's $50 for 1,000 of the same piece. I realize that there's been inflation, etc., but that (...) (23 years ago, 13-Dec-01, to lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Sorry, I should have been more specific. I was only speaking of the building itself, not the contents. An empty building as fully realized as this would be so preferrable to the hollow and vacant things that pass as buildings in the Harry (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: MOC: Wizard's Tower

(...) Thanks much Allan. (...) While I agree with you, in their defense, if this was an *empty* building, and followed the magic .10 per piece price, and "optimized" (where I have 2 1x4 bricks together they used a 1x8, get the idea?), this set would (...)   Re: beams

It looks like LEGO calls them 'Technic Beams' but BrickBay calls them 'Technic Bricks'. Over 1700 lots show up in response to this search: (URL) lugnet.technic, Allan Bedford writes: ... (...) ... (...) ... (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: beams

How sad that the answer to this question isn't (URL) Seems like something I would prefer to address if I were the company. Besides the fact that it would be nice to buy direct from the source, it would also be nice to have a bit better selection (...) (23 years ago, 8-Dec-01, to lugnet.technic, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Consumer affairs

Solved, just received an e-mail explaining parts will be sent during the next two weeks. Just wish it had been easier to ask for them. Pedro (23 years ago, 7-Dec-01, to lugnet.loc.pt, lugnet.dear-lego)
