First, I just want to say that my 5 and 9 year olds had a great time in 2 days at Legoland. The age span was just right - my 5 year old preferred it to Disneyland. Miniland was "way cool." The Clubhouse was fun - though you need to restock more (...) (23 years ago, 4-Jul-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Your concern has merit. A posting on a news group could most definately be viewed a "prior art" and effectively prevent Lego from receiving a patent on the design.
