Re: No more Blue Tub... And is this the kick in the pants that Eric dreaded!?

(...) Unfortunately it is looking more and more like my prophesy is going to come true. It really is to bad because I fear that those that don't know about S@H will see no source for getting plain old bricks and might stop buying as much LEGO. (...) (...)   Re: No more Blue Tub... And is this the kick in the pants that Eric dreaded!?

From what I understand the blue tub only shipped to stores during the spring, most stores have received their final stock of the 3033's by now. So you shouldn't have any trouble finding them in stores, but come fall most stores will probably be sold (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: No more Blue Tub... And is this the kick in the pants that Eric dreaded!?

(...) Just one min this set 3033 was and still is available in Australia, you know the country which is not part of the USA but that you can still get it in. This set is only in k-mart stores? don't know why ? So the bloke who wrote back to Eric (...) (23 years ago, 2-Jun-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

Re: No more Blue Tub... And is this the kick in the pants that Eric dreaded!?

(...) I recently wrote to the Lego consumer services regarding the availability of Set 3033 (1200 bulk brick tubs) in the UK - wanted to find out whther 3033 would arriv in the UK, or not. I recieved a reply from the Global Consumer Service (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.market.shopping)

"James Brown" <galliard@shades-of-night.com> wrote in message news:GE9BvD.CqC@lugnet.com... (...) The other issue is price per piece. Currently, 1200pc tubs sell for 20.00, or at $.016/piece.   Re: 1200 pc tubs in odd colors?

(...) The current bulk packs don't have 1x1's, 1x3's, 2x3's in any color; they don't have 2x2's, 2x6's in every color. But that's beside the point. I think Tim was suggesting a retail solution, that people who aren't aware of or don't use S@H would (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Castle Armor Accessory Pack

(...) I think it should be said that armor only matters to me if I can get helms, helmets and more styles of weapons to go along with them. I would prefer to see such sets broken up into Ninja theme armor, helms and weapons, Castle theme armor, (...) (23 years ago, 1-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: 1200 pc tubs in odd colors?

(...) We know THEY (TLC) read this forum. Perhaps we can hope that they will understand this need. "Castle freestyle" would be perfect, but there should also be an accessory minifigure set and a Castle minifigure set made available to complete the (...)   Re: a question that popped up

(...) People in LEGO do indeed read parts of Lugnet - specifically, lugnet.lego.direct, which is set up to be a forum for interaction with LEGO Direct. LEGO Direct is the part of LEGO that has brought us bulk bricks, sculptures, Mosaic, My Train, & (...) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  a question that popped up

i was catching up on this news group and was wondering. does the lego company actually read this news group. and if so do they read any others? (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Marketing Strategy

I understand that TLC has performed less than stellarly of late and I have to wonder if their current strategies may be a contributing factor. K-Mart and the other chain stores seem to be marking down a large amount of Star Wars stuff of late. Did (...) (23 years ago, 30-May-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: 1200 pc tubs in odd colors?

(...) It wouldn't surprise me if the July surprise that has been said will be a boon to castle fans might be something along these lines rather than just small separate bulk packs. A single big bucket or tub with a name like "Castle freestyle" could (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

1200 pc tubs in odd colors?

Maybe this has been brought up before, maybe not. My friend and I were discussing yesterday the need for bricks in colors like Gray, Dark Gray, etc....colors which aren't very common in bricks (except in Star Wars right now). I think an odd color (...) (23 years ago, 29-May-01, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  S@H Bulk Bricks Lineup
