  Re: eBuisness Model

(...) No, this could be made to look like the customer was dealing directly with the FOL. Check out the T-shirt ordering system here. Go to the main page, go to the left corner, order a shirt. Everything you see in the following process is LUGNET. (...) (24 years ago, 10-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: eBuisness Model

(...) I can't see this being too practical. Since the consumer ultimately ends up purchasing the product from TLC, then the customers believe they are dealing with TLC through the entire process. This includes the browsing of all the FOL sites you (...) (24 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Dear Lego, I love the idea of CAD designing a set and being able to order it, as you describe on your web page. An added feature that would really include the enthusiasts could work something like the group that sells T-shirts for LUGNET. It would (...) (24 years ago, 9-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

  Re: 18-inch Lego Minifigures

(...) Gah! There was something exactly like this at a mall here (near Boston) and though these minifigs were all over it, my friend and I couldn't convince the man at the booth to sell one to us. Alas. eric (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: 18-inch Lego Minifigures

(...) There is a "temporary" Lego booth in a mall here in Toronto (FairView mall) which in fact sold these Lego mega-minifigs. I posted this here awhile ago regarding a similar question but I can't remember what they sold for... but they were (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

(...) Yeah I'd love to buy one of those too! For those of you in the Vancouver area, I believe Eatons has a few of these minifigures in their toy department (for display purposes only, of course). Bryan (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: 18-inch Lego Minifigures

You mean one of these: (URL) appear to be for "internal" use only. In fact the cardboard boxes that they come in are marked "For Display Purposes Only". The LEGO stores have a small number of them that they use for displays. I've never seen or heard (...) (24 years ago, 7-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  My wish list

Here is what I would like to see from LEGO... First of all lets face the simple fact that most users of LUGNET (and indeed LEGO's in general) are adults who grew up in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. I tend to think of LEGO's as 'adult toys'. (...) (24 years ago, 3-Dec-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
