Here is what I would like to see from LEGO...
First of all lets face the simple fact that most users of LUGNET (and
indeed LEGO's in general) are adults who grew up in the 70's, 80's, and
early 90's. I tend to think of LEGO's as 'adult toys'.
1.Re-release all the sets in the 9V train series.
2.Update the 12V train sets to 9V standards (i.e. two-rail pickup)
3.Introduce new train sets in the 9V range.
4.Add a DCC (digital command and control) system, compatible with the 9V
series. The DCC should be NMRA or Motorola compliant.
Lets see if any of this comes to pass.
