 Dear LEGO / 2562 (-20)
  Re: Enough with the microphones

I can understand that completely. I would rather, as has been mentioned already, see minifig heads that can be used cross-genre. This is especially irritating when you are trying to do any kind of story. If they really want minifigs to have (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) Well, I guess that's something. Still, if I want to make an insane Air Traffic Controller, I know which sets to buy. eric (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) At least she doesn't have a microphone. (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Enough with the microphones

(...) Aaaaah! Trick photography! :D I'm not sure if that is any better to me as a viewer. Whenever the mic gets taken out, I'mstill viewing something modified... Still, that's not a bad idea. As the builder, I would feel less guilty. :D eric (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Enough with the microphones

I agree, I don't want to butcher my legos if it's at all possible. As a side note, you can alter your digital camera pictures without touching the minifigs. I would rather not even do that, and tend to avoid the microphone free figs, but that's my (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Enough with the microphones

(...) But some of us pride ourselves on *not* altering LEGO elements. I'm not saying that doing that kind of stuff is inherently evil, or that your soul is going to burn for it, but personally I think it's much cooler to see something built in (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) My vote for that title goes to Willa the Witch, in the Fright Knights line. Not only is she stupid-looking (and not actually scary in the least), but the head is *completely useless* as anything but a witch. Or someone dressed as a witch. Ugh. (...)   Re: Enough with the microphones

It takes about 3 seconds with a $3 exacto knife to kill microphones (unless they extend over the mouth). (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Enough with the microphones

(...) Hear, hear. Same with the woman from Rock Raiders. (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

  Enough with the microphones

Dear LEGO, Please stop putting microphones on minifig heads. The Alpha Team sets have some of the best minifig faces I have ever seen but I will not buy a single one because of those damned mics. Please either design a mic part or do away with them (...) (24 years ago, 30-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !!

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) I dunno. I prefer it to the crazy crosseyed time twisters face. (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) But it is absolutely the most dumb one I've seen so far. Greetings, M. Moolhuysen. (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: LEGO 2001

(...) It's not the first crazy face lego has made. While I still prefer plain smileys, I wouldn't mind one (1) of those heads -- if only the didn't have that #%$@*! microphone. [ignoring requested followup-to; sorry] (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.year.2001, lugnet.dear-lego)

Why no games for the Dreamcast?

I'm one of those people that thinks that LEGO shouldn't have ever gotten invovled in anything other than System and Technic products. However, I'm surprised with all the new videogames they're coming out with that they don't have a version of a (...) (24 years ago, 27-Oct-00, to lugnet.games, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Ideas for Lego (2002-3) Onwards?

(...) Actually, JPIII won't be Spielberg. (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Ideas for Lego (2002-3) Onwards?

(...) No, I was thinking of the plastic that they used to make ghosts. But since real octopi do have colour-changing abilities, your idea is better. (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Ideas for Lego (2002-3) Onwards?

(...) I take it you also read my comments reagarding Optrix. Light Emitting Polymers could be used to create your 'glowing' octopus. Then agin other lements could be made to glow or change color. Imagine just being able to plug in a rick to make it (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)

Re: Ideas for Lego (2002-3) Onwards?

(...) I was thinking along the lines of Joureny to the Centere of the Earth or '20,000 leaques under the Sea' so I suppourt your viewpoint. I feel that UIt would fit within the current themeing in Adventurers... Of course in MOCLAND you could always (...) (24 years ago, 24-Oct-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.lego.direct)
