 Dear LEGO / 2057 (-10)
Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) Well I understand what you are saying. The way I look at it though is: Any face that doesn't have a microphone, hideous grin, eyepatch, monocle, or such is a generic face regardless of how detailed it is. If I can put it on a space person, (...) (25 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Lego Cleaner (Was Re: My forestmen loss)

(...) Here is an idea for TLG: lego cleaner: a oproduct specificly designed for cleaning lego parts, designed so that it wont leave residue on the bricks, damage the bricks or melt ABS. You could market it in toy shops or whatever in the lego (...) (25 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.dear-lego) !

Re: Ordering from S@H (From Canada)

(...) Not since the days of "Lego World Shop". Man, I got nailed at least $60 bucks on shipping, customs, duty & brokerage. I'm glad they are gone... Rip offs... Dean -- Coin-Op's For Sale!: (URL) Lego Workshop: (URL) Lego Club: (URL) (25 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.loc.ca)

Re: Ordering from S@H (From Canada)

G'Day <RANT> Hear, hear ! I agree LEGO has done us a great disservice by closing down S@H Canada. </RANT> On a side note has anyone had to pay duty (aside from GST and Canpost fee) on packages recieved ? Or a brokerage fee from a courier (...) (25 years ago, 6-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.loc.ca)

  Ordering from S@H (From Canada)

I don't know about you US people but ordering from S@H has become such a chore for us Canadians. They don't keep your information on file. You have to jump though all the hoops and the price they quote to you in Canadian dollars is usually not what (...) (25 years ago, 5-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego) !

Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) Here's a better idea: Stop making all of the scarred/mustachioed/...lipsticked faces and go back to plain smileys. Then they can be either. Unless your women have hormone problems and your men are cross-dressers, it's hard to use today's (...) (25 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) Just a quick plug for one of my favourite small sets -- 1271/5905. The Gail Storm face is pretty near generic: the clone factor (as id'ed by Shiri) is still a bit of a problem, but you can use those features nearly anywhere and they seem to (...)   Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) No, no way! I was just giving the most obvious example... (...) Well, you might think you wouldn't mind, and perhaps you wouldn't; but perhaps you think you would because you DON'T have them (1). I have one of each and like them, yet if I had (...)   Re: A minifig pack for EVERY theme

(...) You're comparing Willa the Witch to every other female face? Every other female face could be used for anything. Willa definately can't. That is what makes her a bad mini-face. I have seen the close-up picture of the Queen and princess (I was (...) (25 years ago, 4-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Elements I'd like to see...

(...) Yup, you are correct. I simply forgot about these pieces. I have used them as gender changers in the past, but do not like them much due to the rounded ends. For now, however, that is all we have and I guess I can be happy with that until a (...) (25 years ago, 3-Apr-00, to lugnet.dear-lego)
