It would appear as though someone has beaten you (and Lego) to this idea already. I read in the paper today that Mattel has just purchased the exclusive license for the Harry Potter series. If you think of a beam without studs or stud holes (smooth on top and bottom), with clip/technic holes along the sides (but only on every other center - a 6 stud long Technic (...)
