 Dear LEGO / *4153 (-10)
Re: Design your own 1000 piece tub

(...) Is the 4107 really available at Zellers stores in your area? Or is this wishful thinking? As far as I have seen in the London/Stratford/Kitchener area, they are only available at Toys 'R Us or Bricks & Blocks in St. Jacob's (formerly the (...) (...) Agreed. Find it used instead :) (...) Ok, I don't particularly like the Ice LEGO sets, but Transformers is not crappy! (...) Whose is? :) -Anne, mine definitely isn't... -- Hacker Barbie!   Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

Yep, here's my thoughts: I wouldn't get any of those space sets. Guess I'm just too old. I was lucky enough to be around 10 years old when the first space stuff was introduced. The only space classic I'd buy would be 928. I'd also buy it if they (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

Re: Design your own 1000 piece tub

Nice idea, but not for me. I'd prefer 70% bricks/ 30% plates and keep the rest. If I need greeblies (same as widgets I guess?) or slopes I'll buy the normal bulk packs.   Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

(...) Hmm....I would much prefer Set 6970 as a "Legends". But, the question does beg to be asked: Did Lego sign away their space ships in place of the Star Wars licensing? And if so, why? It's not like the Classic Lego ships even REMOTELY resemble (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Re: Space legends, my thoughts...

(...) Why is a re-mold for this one little part such a big deal, considering how many new parts are in every single Galidor set? I know molds are expensive, but if all it took was ONE LOUSY MOLD, is it really a melodrama to do so? (snip) >(I still (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.space, lugnet.dear-lego)

  Space legends, my thoughts...

Lets face some facts: 1.we cant get classic space helmets and 2.TLC/LD isnt going to be dumb enough to do classic space with new figs and/or new-type helments (it would look ugly, I tried to put some futuron figs in my Walking Astro Grappeler and it (...)   Re: Advent Calendar: 4124 vs. 4524

(...) Whew, that makes me glad I *did* give my kids a Playmobil calendar last year, even though I was swearing to myself at the time about all the boxes you have to assemble-- this year the creator calendar is new to them. Plus I appreciate the "no (...) (22 years ago, 17-Dec-02, to lugnet.dear-lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct)

(...) Hmm...seems interesting enough...If only lego would release something as great as that, but then again, that would defeat the purpose of accessory kits, now, wouldn't it? <<_Matt Hein_>> Fellow lego enthusiast (22 years ago, 16-Dec-02, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dear-lego)
