  Re: Peeron needs your help!

If you want I can use my scanner to get some of the parts (sorry, can't get to Brickfest, to busy...). I got the tile 1 x 2 with red number 5 in white, and the minifig head - stud hollow in yellow with note: doc (rock raiders) deco, and probly lots (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Naming of pieces

Jonathan and all, I just would like to chime in here and say that I don't think that "small", "medium", "large", "ex-large", etc. are very good descriptions for naming parts. I came across my first plastic space wheels in an Insectoids set several (...) (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: looking for an inventory of 6983 ice station odyssey

(...) I have this set (6983) and a 6930 still in polybags (boxes opened, but Lego new :-)) I am on holiday next week and may attempt my first inventories. Is that too long to wait? If you really want, I could just do a quick tally of all the unusual (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Naming of pieces

(...) How about just "technic steering wheel large" with the other one becoming "technic steering wheel small"? (23 years ago, 11-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Naming of pieces

I'm not sure if this is the right place to bring this up, but... I've noticed that a lot of pieces have been given names which do not allow for the full range of use of the elements. Looking at the inventory of the Sopwith Camel, I found several (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

Re: Sopwith Camel overtakes Guarded Inn! (and it's a NEW set!)

(...) (URL) PICS (Yes!! Thanks, peeron gang) really drive home what a swell set this is for parts. Why, it's a veritable cornucopia, or a vast plethora if you prefer, of goodies in lots of colors. (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron needs your help!

(...) Great! Wonderful! Keep track of what piece goes with what set though :) (are you bringing any 12v trains this year?) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron needs your help!

I'm going through the P's now looking around and slowly removing some, we wanted to get the list up and posted first, so people would have time to gather things up (hopefully) :) I'm pretty sure we have pictures for a lot of things too, but it's (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: Peeron needs your help!

(...) You definitely have pictures for some of these, Adventurer parts especially - I'll soldier away at getting the right px numbers for those, which will decrease your list a bit. Anything with a p number is LDrawn, so might be a lower priority. I (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Peeron needs your help!

As you probably know, Dan and I like to take pictures for pieces that aren't yet in partsref or ldraw, well, fortunately for us, many of you have sent in inventories for sets that we don't own. So we don't yet have pictures for them, nor are we sure (...) (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.events.brickfest) !!

  Re: What is this piece?

(...) Yes you are right, my mistake. Propellers in this set are placed inside model team wheel hubs, not the parts we talking about Selçuk (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: What is this piece?

(...) Yeah, that's piece 6041 (URL). Steve (23 years ago, 10-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.brictionary)

  Re: What is this piece?

Hi, Many thanks to both of you. According to Peeron: Submarine: 8299 --> "Cylinder 4 x 4 x 1 2/3 Propeller Cowling" (2 yellow) X-Wing: 7191 --> "Cylinder 4 x 4 x 1 2/3 Propeller Cowling" (4 gray) The model team set was not inventoried. 3-in-1: 8286 (...)   new feature on peeron.com!

We're happy to announce a new feature on the inventories at peeron.com. You can now, when viewing an inventory, have pictures of each part shown. Of course, that's only if a picture is available, either on peeron or on partsref. To try it out, just (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jul-01, to lugnet.general, lugnet.db.inv, lugnet.publish) !!

Inventory of 4128 XL FreeStyle Value Bucket

This inventory is transcribed from the pictorial inventory on the back of the bucket (thanks to Cary Clark for the scan). It's in peeron format and uses peeron *px* numbers. A few lines are word-wrapped, sorry about that. Reproducible for any use. (...) (23 years ago, 8-Jul-01, to lugnet.db.inv)

  Re: What is this piece?

(...) It used as a propeller housing in at least two technic sets (The Yellow Submarine -8299?- and the 3-in-1 set -the one with a Jeep and a trailer carrying a small helicopter -8268?) in yellow. I also know that gray ones are included to UCS (...) (23 years ago, 9-Aug-00, to lugnet.db.brictionary)
