beam colors in 9790 Team Challenge?

I have been in need of another RCX for a while, but have kept putting it off until RIS 2.0 comes out... From the picture, the Dacta set 9790 Team Challenge looks neat. (See (URL).) 1) Does anybody know which colors of Technic beams this set has? RIS (...) (24 years ago, 15-Feb-01, to lugnet.dacta, lugnet.robotics)

  Re: Technic Tank Treads/Coveyer belt!

(...) (pitsco dacta store) Anyone made conveyor belts from these? I'm working on one for my train layout. I'm using 1x3 bricks every 10 links or so - they fit perfectly right over one link. You do have to be careful that there is a constant sidewall (...) (24 years ago, 13-Feb-01, to lugnet.dacta)

  Technic Tank Treads/Coveyer belt!

if you are looking for technic tank treads/coveyer belts go here: ( (URL) ), copy and paste whats in between the ()'s, just make sure you get it all! The shipping is a little steep ($6), so it may be good to order more than one set.   Re: Lego Soft false advertisement

(...) Well, I should not have made a fool out of myself, by making such claims without carrying out the experiment myself. Sorry. If you adjust the bricks *carefully* (i.e., not just stack them up, but also shift them left and right a bit to tighten (...) (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.dacta)

(...) Oops! I just started my post with a syntax error. Worse, I guess there are lots of teachers reading lugnet.dacta... Sincere apology to my high school English teacher. Sorry, Ms. Fu. Hao-yang Wang (24 years ago, 17-Oct-00, to lugnet.dacta)

  Lego Soft false advertisement

Having had actually built something out of Lego Soft, now I have a strong doubt on the feasibility of the brick-girl shown in the 9021 picture (URL) There is no way that the corner pieces in the hair and the skirt of the girl can stay there, since (...)   Bird in Lego Soft

(...) Actually I do have some of the Lego Soft bricks. I bought the smallest of the three Lego Soft sets from an excellent source for the Dacta sets, Glen Tannenbaum. The soft bricks are intended for my son. However, when they arrived, my son was (...) (24 years ago, 16-Oct-00, to lugnet.general, lugnet.dacta)

  RE: Lego DACTA in Australia

But in Australia, DACTA is run through LA...In fact at one stage you could order DACTA [or at least get info] from LA only. The reason I'm assuming that BradJ is the best contact is that the personel [except customer service] are about as useful as (...) (24 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.dacta)

  Re: Lego DACTA in Australia

(...) This seems like a real stretch to me. Suddenly BradJ is in charge of the educational division? I think you would have a better shot at actually calling someone at Dacta. (24 years ago, 12-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.dacta)

  Re: Lego DACTA in Australia

(...) Dacta sales are probably "Sales to the educational market", not "Sales to consumers." At least, that's my guess. (24 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.dacta)

  RE: Lego DACTA in Australia

The reason for asking BradJ is that he's responsible for Lego Direct, and in his words: " LEGO Direct is a business unit of the LEGO Company. Among its responsibilities is the management of direct commerce to consumers. These commerce activities -- (...) (24 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.dacta)

  Re: Lego DACTA in Australia

(...) Why would Brad J have anything to do with LEGO Dacta in Australia? Why don't you try to call someone at Dacta in SE Asia? That might actuallt get you a response. (24 years ago, 11-Sep-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.dacta)

  RE: Lego DACTA in Australia

Good...It's not just me who doesn't get responses from MOORE educational. BradJ/Lego Australia, if you're reading this, could you do something about the lack of any form of communication with this company. Even just a reply saying that they don't (...)   Re: Lego DACTA in Australia

(...) Is this a recent change in policy from LA ? About 5 or 6 years ago, I wrote to the Lego DACTA address (which was printed on the back of the regular catalogue) asking for some DACTA catalogues to be sent to me. I seem to remember getting a call (...) (24 years ago, 27-Aug-00, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.dacta)
