So, according to that, only the 1x1 brick and 1x2 brick are available in more
colors!

Wow, thats a surprise. I guess when I looked at the color table on Peeron I
mainly was struck by the fact that up until a few years ago the 2x4 brick was
only in a small number of colors. This does seem to have changed in the past
couple of years.

Usually those colors come in odd sets (Fabuland, Belville, Paradisa, Basic
tubs), so if you dont have a lot of those, it might explain some things.

Too true. Plus, those shades that I have a ton of are ones that I made an
effort to get (gray, dark gray, black, tan, green) for castle projects.

About
how many sets/pieces are in your collection?
|
Oh, gosh, I have no idea. Id say my collection is the size that most non-AFOLs
(my fiancee, for instance) would say is unreasonably large but most AFOLs would
say is fairly limiting. My Lugnet database says I have 109 sets, for 8686
pieces, but that is way out of date. My collection is probably double the size
it was when I took this
picture.

| (...) You have less than 20,000 pieces in your collection? Wow - it sure doesn't look like that based on your creations... I have over 160,000 pieces (probably average for an AFOL) and none of the stuff I've built comes even close to the "grandeur" (...) (20 years ago, 25-May-05, to lugnet.color, FTX)
