Tim, That's really well done. You've captured the feeling of wood in plastic... not an easy task. Better still, you've captured the spirit of that old toy and that's even harder to do. Very cool. :) Allan B. (18 years ago, 20-Apr-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

(URL) Based on this (URL) toy>. As we can clearly from the original see the colour change is nothing but a return to LEGO's basic colour pallette. Obviously this fits the "back to basics" approach of recent years so I think we finally have the real (...) (18 years ago, 19-Apr-07, to lugnet.build, lugnet.color, FTX) !!

As if there weren't enough of color lists, I've also made one myself.. This one is from an L3 user's point of view, that is L3Lab and L3P. So far, it lists colors from ldconfig and Lugnet Color Images Guide, but I may add other sources. For a user (...) (18 years ago, 15-Apr-07, to lugnet.cad, lugnet.color)

Thank you so much to all who replied. Firstly I have to say I like new Lego colours like dark red and light yellow and I cant wait until more dark tan comes out. It helps Lego mocs to look more real to life. Truthfully I started using Lego again, (...) (18 years ago, 15-Apr-07, to lugnet.color)

(...) Relax, Bob. Nobody's whining here or trying to change LEGO's course, IMHO. Seems to me, this has been a pretty constructive discussion about how to adapt to using the new colors. At least up until this point... (18 years ago, 11-Apr-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)

(...) I'm afraid that new colors are here to stay. Just like 4.5v (circa 1966) trains were replaced with 12v (circa 1969) trains and then 9v (circa 1991) replaced 12v, etc. No matter how much anyone here likes/loves the original colors, Lego is not (...) What was the purpose of the LEGO colour change? Well, I think the whole thing was not initiated by TLC. I remember that not only LEGO parts changed their colours - there were some grey shade changes overall: some medicine packaging tubes, ceiling (...) (18 years ago, 11-Apr-07, to lugnet.color, FTX)
