Re: Top secret project - we need your help

(...) Jake / Richard when I have put in the first item and I click on Browse For More it says I have 0 items in my cart. I know I have cookies enabled and I've added pabtrack.com and briktrak.com to my trusted sites list to enable java. What else (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: Top secret project - we need your help

(...) Thank you. The collectible card game industry is where I came up with that idea, and I get excited every time I think about it. However, I think this idea is only good for minifigs. TLC should just make assortments of slopes and doors, they (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

Re: Brown Bricks - Wood or Chocolate?

(...) Yes (...) Yes, and it is also like wood... (...) Yes, I really don't think that a child will see a tree made out of the new brown, and go "Oh! Chocholate!" and then try to eat it (Augustis Gloop aside) I suppose you could say translucent red (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.color) !

Re: Top secret project - we need your help

(...) Thank you! This is great! If only a portion of the bricks we select will be produced in bulk, it will be a big help. I picked a good range of colors (based primarily on what is used at the modelshop) including the new light grey, dark grey, (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)

Re: Server upgraded and hopefully fixed! (Was: Top secret project - we need your help)

(...) Another example of just how active the online AFOL community really is. I, for one, filled out the survey within a few hours of seeing the announcement. It was a hard survey to fill out (picking only 20 parts was the hardest part). Once I (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

Re: Server upgraded and hopefully fixed! (Was: Top secret project - we need your help)

(...) Thanks again for putting this together, Richard. I hope that the high amount of traffic to your poor web server is an indication to TLG that the AFOL population is very excited about possible future bulk element offerings. -Bryan (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

Re: Top secret project - we need your help

This is a GREAT idea! Lego could put mass quantities of "standard torsos" in, and every once in a while mix in something really rare like a forest maiden or something. This is how collectable card companies sell their products. Lego could do the (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

Server upgraded and hopefully fixed! (Was: Top secret project - we need your help)

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that I have upgraded the memory in the webserver that is running the Bulk Bricks survey. HOPEFULLY this will stop the issues that some users have been having with their carts getting blown out. In addition (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color)

Re: Top secret project - we need your help

Hey Jake, This seems like it could lead to some very cool things in the future. I did the survey with no problems just a few minutes ago. A few comments: First, why doesn't TLC just run an online PaB store? I live 8 hours away from the nearest PaB, (...) (20 years ago, 12-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.color, FTX)
