  Re: Short Comic ...

Dude, that's sweet! I love the editing in it, especially in the forest and the last shot! Great way to introduce characters and give a little teaser as to what's going to happen along the way. And *GASP* Blut'Ader got sacked!? I can't wait to see (...) (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Short Comic ...

I've updated my site with a short story: (URL) finally able to give my characters some context :) More to come in 2-3 weeks ... -- Pawel (23 years ago, 28-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.castle.org.cw) !

Re: how big is the Isle of Mist?

(...) Bigger? If one were to grab baseplates and make tIoM in real life it'd be over sixteen and a half kilometers across! Even a acre is pretty large, clocking up 32 metres across. (For the series, a realm is around a kilometre and a bit)(1) Even (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: how big is the Isle of Mist?

(...) Hmm, wow, that's quite large, but actually I thought it was bigger! Hmm. Interesting. (...) Well.... do you even know that Castle World is round? Who knows? It may be flat... in fact I think it would even be fair to assume it is, since it has (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

Re: how big is the Isle of Mist?

(...) And the isle, (assuming most of the bits under fog are isle) is somewhere around 550 km across. Which makes it compareable to New Zealand's South island. (Except South island isn't round, more a diagonal line, tIoM has a larger area). Or to (...) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: IOM question...

(...) Dag-nabbit - I'll add it in ASAP. As Leah said, it stands for Correct Me If I'm Wrong. -Shiri (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Blank Shields IoM update

(...) Oh, it'd definitely be fine to use third person for a narrative. As an outsider, you can still make a great interesting story and develop characters.... techniques could be, for example, telling people's thoughts (if you're an omnipotent 3rd (...)   IOM: About the Mist

Ok - this is the 2nd in the series of FAQ. Hopefully it will clear some questions up - maybe raise newer ones. Just let me know what still needs details: (URL) Pawel (URL) (23 years ago, 27-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Blank Shields IoM update

(...) Ya, that's kinda what I'm going for right now; I'm just wondering if people think a third-person style of narrative would be OK for a more substantial story. More like my "history" chapters(1), although much more real-time than they are, and (...) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: Blank Shields IoM update

(...) For what you are using, 3rd person works very well. It's just like a military report that I'm reading from CNN :) It doesn't tell you much, but you know something is going on. -- Pawel (URL) (23 years ago, 26-Oct-01, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)
