  Brickfest

Hello to Ninja fans. I am planning to attend Brickfest in DC next month and i am bringing ninja MOC along with my airport. I was wondering if anybody else with ninja stuff is planning to attend. If anyone is planning to come I thought it might be (...) (23 years ago, 9-Jun-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: bushidobrick teaser #1 Tomoe Gozen

Nice job, Chris. I always did like MOCs with "historical research" behind it. Japan was always a puzzler to me which is probably what makes it interesting. In a male dominated society, you have a woman warrior like Tomoe Gozen - must have been one (...) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

(...) I've found that battles are easy to build, even easier to "overbuild" but hard to photograph. (...) The bigger scene that this is from is pretty good if I do say so myself. I have not edited the photos yet, but when I do I'll preview em here. (...) (23 years ago, 4-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

Re: bushidobrick teaser #1 Tomoe Gozen

(...) Can't wait to see the whole story =8^) Battle scenes are particularly challenging to stage... I am always interested in viewing Action scenes. The long black hair piece is growing on me, so to speak. I really have to find some of those Technic (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

  The Chess Game

G'day all. Kung-Khoon Quah's chess set inspired me so much that I decided to create a basic chess board for LCAD. Currently, the board has no figures due to the theme I wished to start with. In the near future, I intend to post pictures of some (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.build, lugnet.cad.dat.models)

  bushidobrick teaser #1 Tomoe Gozen

Hey, I just did a simple but pleasing MOC last night for bushidobrick and here is a teaser: Tomoe Gozen This samurai woman was known for her skill with the bow and nagatina and for her bravery in battle. Tomoe Gozen lived during the Gempei Wars in (...) (23 years ago, 3-Apr-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja)

(...) Oooo! That is so clean and simple, yet with so much detail! I love it. Similar to my Castle chess set that I have on the back-burner,very very nice, promise I won't steal any ideas ;) Very well constructed! Aaron (23 years ago, 31-Mar-01, to lugnet.castle.ninja, lugnet.build, lugnet.fun)

Re: Lego Ninja Theme Chess Set

James, Thanks for the kinds words on the set. Your idea of Lego offering pre-made chess boards is a very good one. As usual, AFOLs can come up with ideas that would probably be money makers for TLC but some of our ideas never see the light of day. (...)
