    The extra horse —Roger Wilson
Hi As I posted last week, the 10000 set arrives with a message and a horse. I'd love to be at Brickfest to discuss matters. Here in the UK I get lonely. I still wonder whether to keep this set sealed as a rarity or will everyone get a free horse?? (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I think everyone gets a free horse; at least, just about everyone who's gotten their 10000's so far has said it comes with the extra horse. James (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The extra horse —Erik Olson
(...) Who would have thought a painted horse would be special. Not long ago nobody wanted these. I wonder why Adventurers never shipped a set with horses? (Been watching Young Indiana Jones Chronicles: see autos, see trains, see horses.) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Even if only the first shipments get this extrra horse, so what??? Did you buy the set for monetary speculation? If you did, buy stock instead. And if the next shipments don't come with the extra horse, how will you tell the difference between the (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The extra horse —Eric Kingsley
(...) Agree 100% (...) Well the extra horse actually comes shipped outside the box so you do have a good idea there is a painted horse in the box. That said if you keep the set sealed how will you know... More to the point who cares. The painted (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The extra horse —Scott Sanburn
To All, Weird, unfamiliar territory, castle..... Anyway, I got my 10000 today, and I got the extra horse in it's own typical LEGO parts bag outside of the 10000 box. It is so weird, I might just keep it, and get a few more for an upcoming project I (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The extra horse —Aaron Dalan
(...) Hee hee hee. I got my guarded inns today, too. Happy day! Just a few, very minor complaints. Two holder clip yellow saddle instead of the original part, a one holder; Modern style heads instead of the old solid stud head-tops; That Indian (...) (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The extra horse —Victor Knight
(...) Does anyone know why they stopped making the solid stud headtops? (...) You could mail it to me. Heh. (23 years ago, 13-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The extra horse —Wesley Pauley
(...) Ok let's see. Indian horse. I wonder who made the mistake of having it put in with the guarded inns. kickin him/herself now:) I would have been pretty darn surprised if the sabble had only one clip! solid head tops went away. you wanna know (...)         Re: The extra horse —James Stacey
Have you considered that maybe the hole on the head is a safety feature to stop little children swallowing them and choking :P James "Wesley Pauley" <msanchez@nbnet.nb.ca> wrote in message news:GGHF2M.MCw@lugnet.com...         Re: The extra horse —Matthew Gerber
(...) I have always thought that it was to negate vacuum between the head and the post on the torso, making it easier to remove the head. Although, the choking thing sounds somewhat reasonable too. I wonder what the real answer is? Matt (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build.minifigs)

Re: The extra horse —Dave Schuler
(...) I don't refute this, since I certainly don't want a horde of kids to meet their demise via LEGO, but is the teeny-tiny hole in the top really a large enough aperture to allow sufficient air to pass through? And how likely is it that the poor (...) (23 years ago, 16-Jul-01, to lugnet.castle)
