I've seen no end of bad comments about this set, and I just can't understand why. I wouldn't say its a "great" set, but for a small set, it has a lot of great pieces, and I think the main model is kind of neat too. Given that you can pick it up for (...) I dremeled the tab away using a small coarse sanding drum. Worked fine, though the ABS is so hard, it took a while. I've gone the X-acto route and I'd say the ABS is too hard to hand-cut the piece safely, unless you use a vise. binky "Bruce (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

The UFO armor pads also appear in many Insectoids sets. It's been seen in two colors: Black and Dark Grey. The black version appears to have made more appearances and is available in many smaller sets. Don't destroy those wonderful UFO figs though. (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)
