(...) I tried saw blades years ago, and I found them on the useless side for this type of work. If you are actually cutting all the way through, it works better, but I prefer a jeweler's saw at that point. A good old #11 is my flensing tool of (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

The UFO armor pads also appear in many Insectoids sets. It's been seen in two colors: Black and Dark Grey. I remember in my much younger days buying a set of mini figs from LS@H that I believe would have been the first castle mini fig pack. I've never seen it documented anywhere (even here on lugnet). I dremeled the tab away using a small coarse sanding drum. Worked fine, though the ABS is so hard, it took a while. I've gone the X-acto route and I'd say the ABS is too hard to hand-cut the piece safely, unless you use a vise. binky "Bruce (...) (24 years ago, 17-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)
