Re: Hostile Takeover Part 2 - Now Online!

(...) Great story Bryan! I like how you presented the pictures with the story itself. Just the right amount of pictures on each page tomake loading easy. I look forward to more soon! Matt (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle LEGOs

Has anyone bought stuff from GetTheToys.com? I went to the website, and it isn't very professional -- based on the grammar and syntax, English is not their first language. It raises doubts in my mind if they are targeting the North American market. (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

We now have a domain name thanks to Dave Eaton! Update your links if you'd like =). (URL) is registered and if you type it in it will take you to (URL) until the automated site goes live (whenever that may be). Thank you Dave! =) ~~~...~~~ In other (...)   Hostile Takeover Part 2 - Now Online!

Hi Castle fans, I've completed the conclusion of my current story, and updated my castle page slightly. Here's the index page: (URL) there, on the top left you should find the link to part 2 of the story. You might wanna re-visit the first part to (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Feedback on website wanted

(...) The site worked well and fast for me. (Netscape on Linux). The B&W effect took me by surprise initially, but I think I like it - it is appropriately "old". So long as I can tell a clicked link from an unclicked link, which I can. I spent quite (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Need Help to ID a Part

I think the green ones were available in some freestyle sets in the late 90's (Timmy sets). -Rob. "Scott Runkle" <limerickpa@usa.net> wrote in message news:G3ztq6.766@lugnet.com... (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

Need Help to ID a Part

In a Lot that I received recently, I found 2 green hats that are identical to the black Witch hat and blue Majisto hat. I have looked through many catalogs trying to find which figs and sets these belong, but have been unable to find anything. (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Feedback on website wanted

Hi all! It's been about a year since I've posted, but things are beginning to slow down at work and once again I'm turning my free time towards lego related things. I doubt many of you remember me, but I worked on the webpage with Robert Carney's (...) (24 years ago, 14-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

why is it so quiet here?

Where have all of the castle builders gone? All we get these days is space space and more space. Mabie a castle building contest might help pick this place up a bit. (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle LEGOs

Actually, you can buy a fairly good selection of BESTLOC castle sets from www.GetTheToys.com, which ONLY ships to North American addresses. Great prices too. (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

Re: Meijer and chrome castle sets

(...) I've found them with the regular LEGO, in the small sets shelf. But they are usually stuck in at odd places, like someone had looked at them and put them back. I assume that means that someone else cleared out the stock, but missed one or two (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mi, lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle LEGOs

As far as I know, Best-Lock Castles are not sold in the US... So that won't help any of us that might be interested. Paul (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.off-topic.clone-brands)

  Re: New Castle LEGOs

(...) Based on my experiences, you need to go to the Toy Works or Toy Liquidators, not to the regular KB stores. I have a couple of extra 4819 (that's the one with the shield, right? - one in sealed box, one in opened box but unopened polybags) (...) (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Meijer and chrome castle sets

I know I have seen posts of people reporting finding the chrome caslte sets at Meijer stores. Where are these sets usually located in the store??? Are they with the rest of the Lego??? Eric (24 years ago, 13-Nov-00, to lugnet.loc.us.mi, lugnet.castle)

  Re: New Castle LEGOs

(...) Yeah, IIRC TLC has issued press-releases about this. (...) I can definitely see more and more people being drawn to clone companies. TLC is not listening to us, and if the clone companies are (and I've heard rumors) it won't be long 'til many (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Country Music! Yeehaw! <I fear I may be run out of town now :-)> As for TV, if I'm trying to get inspired for a castle creation, I pop in Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, or Braveheart...always good choices.   Re: New Castle LEGOs

There has been at least one occasion in the past where no new castle sets were issued in a year. I know for a fact that it happened in 1991-- exactly 10 years ago. (btw, 1476 does not count as a castle set). And while I too am disappointed and can't (...) (24 years ago, 11-Nov-00, to lugnet.castle)
