Re: The Mystery of the Printed Stones

(...) Highly unlikely. If you actually look at the date on the magazine, it's 1993... The 1st castle corner pieces came out in 1986 with Black Falcon's Fortress (6074) (also premiered in the Guarded Inn (6067) that year, but not in grey), which (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: More Dragons

If I remember correctly, it wasn't too long ago that somebody posted alternate dragon pics... they had sprayed a dragon white and made it an ice dragon, I think maybe there was a red dragon too. Anybody have the URL? (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) Yeah, that's a good supposition. I mean... yeah. (...) Weeeeeeelll.... possibly as young as 40-45, I could say. (...) Really? I used her face for a 21-y/o girl (Princess Siffera). (...) LOL... hehe... well... no comment... (what's wrong if (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?)

(...) Us folk up in that range ourselves have a better feel for that. Saying he is only 50 is giving him the benefit of that doubt as it is. (...) No quick picture of Leonora available, so I can't picture it in my mind, alas. I'd agree with those (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Anthony is a happy boy, part 2

Anthony is a happy boy. Anthony just got his first chrome knight in the mail today, all four chrome pieces. Yes, Anthony now knows the news about how they will be released in the US, possibly, and soon. Anthony thinks the chrome knight is (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Vice King(was Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?))

(...) Yeah, an old man couldnt get on a horse & fight! By the way, lego shows the king on a horse with a sword, but I thought kings were lazy & didn't want to risk their life? An 90+ year old would get killed on the battlefield before he could say (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Another Kinght's Kingdom Set???

(...) I was browsing through the Scala catalog which came with one of the sets I picked up at the LEGO Outlet, this set definitely has a toilet. In fact, I should scan the picture for Todd. (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Mystery of the Printed Stones

(...) Either of Dave's explanation makes sense... although we're assuming it was actually built in 1993, and not an archive photo unearthed for this Castle issue. We're also assuming it's TLC's, although it ought to be since there are no other (...) (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Vice King(was Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?))

(...) William the Conqueror was just about 60 when he was shot with a crossbow during a seige and died. All the guy ever did was fight. :-) Bruce (24 years ago, 19-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Vice King(was Re: Ages of the Royal Minifigures (was Re:Chiefs arm?))

(...) Just today I learned about Opech-something, the "Indian" who led the brilliantly-planned (as our wonderful textbook puts it) attacks on the British in 1622 and 1644. He died in the 1644 - was shot in the Jamestown streets - he was almost 100 (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: RPG PBEM

It would be pretty nice. The only problem is that I don't have a digital camera and very little medieval pieces. Oh well, it'd be pretty cool. (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.gaming)

  The "set" posts

Cool Lego Site of the Week

It may sound corny, but I'd like to thank everyone who nominated and voted for me for the Cool Lego Site of the Week. It's a great honor for me to be chosen, and as Shiri has pointed out, chosen so quickly. So thank you all, and just because I've (...)   Re: The Mystery of the Printed Stones

(...) Hmm... I suppose... just seems odd that they'd dig for an old picture rather than just make a new one... (...) Although after the LUGNET logo fiasco in the Mania Magazine earlier this year, we know they're not great at giving credit! :) But (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Painting Lego (Was: More Dragons)

O.K. What is everyone's opinion on painting lego? I am currently debating painting a few minifig heads olive green for an Orc Army. I have everything (except the heads assembled) I have been trying different heads but to no avail. Has anyone else (...) (24 years ago, 20-Sep-00, to lugnet.castle)
