I manufacture maces using some very old Lego pieces: Back in the Expert
Builder
days, there were these metal 2-long axles, with a retaining cap at one
end and
narrowing to a handle at the other. Slide an 8-tooth gear onto it, and
it
looks quite good. *very* heavy though - the minifig requires a base to
stand.
