I finished my inn... I have a teaser story up... I combined them both...

Also, check out the main page - there's another teaser pic, for the first
chapter as well.

What more can I say?!

Oh, one more thing. The girl in the teaser story is Matthew Wilkins'
character, we're considering a mutual storyline... meanwhile, WYSIWYG.

  shiri~

it seems to me, your inn has a bit of an "ancient world" look to it, that
reminds me of pictures i've seen of buildings in israel, egypt, and even
pakistan, (where my cousins grew up.)  it's very interesting how all of our
individual building styles, which are formed by our own personal tastes and
experiences, create such distinctive cultures for our creations!  you've got
such a unique style, it well suits an island nation. i think the most
creative uses of pieces is usualy the result of the limitations one's
collection, anyway!

hey, does'nt the inn have a cat hanging around, somewhere?

the tall rounded columns at the entrance make the inn seem a bit like a
more fancy hotel, but the otherwise simple building has a humble & homey
feel, like a bed & breakfast. but then, the blood red stripe brings in the
touch of elegance again, as do the windows.  i love the design of the
windows! it's this combination of broad simplicity with focused, elegant
details that makes me think of non-european, ancient world buildings, i guess.

the small rooms for frugal, no nonsense travelers remind me of the hotel
rooms in london! they are about that proportion, no kidding!

DixieLUG boys...)

(...) The tall columns, fancy windows, and arch on the side of the building give it (to me) the flavor of a "reclaimed building"- ie, it looks like it was once a much larger and grander building that fell to ruin and was rebuilt in part by the (...) (25 years ago, 9-Apr-00, to lugnet.castle)
