Re: Questions for those with LARGE collections...

(...) Don't know if I qualify, but... (...) Best estimate is 60,000+, but my estimates get fuzzier as time goes on - I really don't bother keeping that close a track of it. A very significant chunk of that is in buckets and service packs. (...) (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Questions for those with LARGE collections...

(...) Me either... I DON'T have a large collection, but still... (...) Sounds right to me... (...) LOL! (...) I have (as I mentioned earlier) much less than that. I have around 100 minifigs but most aren't castle figs. I wish I had a 100-minifig (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: ( warning, sacrilege) Customized pieces - note

(...) (Just a note - Richard Marchetti is the one who thought about the Jet face modification. However, Craig brought my attention to it in his page. Thanks, both of you!) -Shiri (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Questions for those with LARGE collections...

(...) I would not consider myself a real heavy hitter but hear goes. (...) My guess is that I have somewhere between 20,000 and 30,000 pieces. And I only have probably 200 or so figs with only about 20 of those being true castle figs (If you count (...) (25 years ago, 16-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: ( warning, sacrilege) Customized pieces

(...) LOL! (...) Well, I don't know about that... but a month ago, I wouldn't have thought I'd ever customize a piece either... Ya never know, I guess. -Shiri (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: [CW][OT-FUN] Casting Castle World

(...) Since I used the Qui Gon head for Erik I guess I could cheat and say Liam Neeson. After all he can use a sword and has an accent (that's not american). The only draw back is I see Erik as about 20 years younger. Hmm, I'll think some more James (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: [CW][OT-FUN] Casting Castle World

(...) True enough. We did have some stone forts, Fort Sumter and Fort Pitt come to mind. Sumter surrendered at the start of the American civil war because it wasn't able to return fire effectively. (This is why my castle has two cannon overlapping (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

Re: ( warning, sacrilege) Customized pieces

(...) My son has that viking set from "Meager" Blocks, it's not very good, can't get the *#@%! thing to stay together - really poor quality! The helmets, shields, swords, etc. just don't look right with Lego. There's a black sword with it and I (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)

  Now I have a dilemna...

I recently traded some Star Wars toys for what turned out to be a treasure trove of castle Lego. I ended up with a (seemingly) complete yellow castle with all the minifigs! The set is dirty, but I'm sure I can clean it. The stickers are all in (...) (25 years ago, 17-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)
