Hear, hear!

Yes, Please! ;)

That it will, as the history is just that - history. It is just there to give
people the backstory of my realm. I'd have to completely rebuild my castle,
create all the major historical figures, and spend a lot of time doing nothing
(I do have a couple hundred year gap of piece in there...). I really do not
feel like starting my kingdom from the very beginning. :)

And, for the most part, I'd have no problems with that.

And, if everyone has *some* access to the ocean, they'll never get boxed in,
because they can just go discover a new continent! :)

That'd be pretty cool, and useful for those who don't want to create their own
kingdoms.

Well, considering that we are creating our own kingdoms, it only makes sense
that we creat our own maps, too. Then they can just be melded together with
"no mans lands".
I think this is the best plan set forth so far!

| It sounds like a lot of people are really confused by the whole 'realms' and map sections thing. I've got a suggestion, and I think that it will make stuff a lot easier - and I hope it will make people happy. To do this I have to question a basic (...) (25 years ago, 10-Feb-00, to lugnet.castle)
