  Re: Vikings vs Castle?

(...) Thanks Rene for the explanation. I can understand the logic behind the decision insofar as TLC markets it as a separate theme. I don't mean the following to be a debate but rather simply dicussion... However, for those who argue against any (...)   Re: Vikings vs Castle?

Hi Ben, (...) I always wondered why Ninja is a subgroup of Castle, too. But from what I know, changes in the Newsgroup tree and re-sorting grown groups is a potential No-No from the technical and organizational point of view. Probably, to change (...)   Re: Vikings vs Castle?

(...) I agree that Vikings are their own theme. But Ninja is also it's own independant theme and not a subgroup of Castle. It was marketed in the catalogs with the Ninja logo while Dark Forest and Fright Knights were marketed under the Castle (...) (18 years ago, 10-Jul-06, to lugnet.vikings, lugnet.castle)

  Vikings vs Castle?

I just noticed .vikings at Lugnet. ...But shouldn't Vikings be a subgroup of Castle? (in much the same way as Ninja) Maybe that's just my inexperienced logic talking though, so please don't flame me if there is some heated reason I'm unaware of as (...)   Re: Its a Completely New Castle (was Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle)

(...) Not to bring up an old debate, but: They never really tried to sell the Legends, if you put the guarded inn in a decent box (what were they thinking with a black and white one?) and put it on a shelf next to a thrown together model like this (...)   Re: New Knights Knigdom Sets

I never was able to overcome the colour switch so these are too bley for me to buy, but I'm glad to hear someone is enjoying them. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 6-Jul-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Its a Completely New Castle (was Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle)

(...) Nothing more than sales expectations, but that is of course the main issue. It's pretty square-looking, takes a lot of patience to build and leaves a lot to the imagination. Patience and imagination are two qualities of which there seems to be (...) (18 years ago, 5-Jul-06, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: dragon wing upgrade

(...) Yes, it's pretty good. I'm not sure of all the parts you used tought. Maybe I you can put a list up, I would really be glad. (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Its a Completely New Castle (was Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle)

(...) Yeah, it's like they took 6090 and 6091/6098 and built some kind of combo castle with them. Comparing them is like saying that 6062 is a re-release of 6061. Same general idea, same general design, but made to be prettier and be more (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Its a Completely New Castle (was Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle)

(...) Compare (URL) the new 10176> with (URL) the original 6090>. Clearly the new castle was merely inspired by the original. I am surprised S@H is even making the comparison. The new one actually looks much better from a design stand point. It also (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle

(...) We do have it in the USA. It will ship by July 18th and does not come with the bonus flag pack. The set is called "King's Castle" here, much to my dismay. Ben (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle)

Legend set of Royal Knight's Castle

I noticed that a new Legend set appeared on Shop at Home: #K10176 - Classic Castle, a recreation of set #6090 - Royal Knight's Castle "with updated parts and colors". At this moment only for the European/Oceana side, will ship by 14 Jul 2006. With (...) (18 years ago, 30-Jun-06, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce) !

  New Knights Knigdom Sets

I haven't seen much about the new knight's kingdom III set he except a few pics of the new armor and sheilds. I picked up all three new sets yesterday at Toys R Us and I'm pretty impressed.
