I haven't seen much about the new knight's kingdom III set he except a few pics
of the new armor and sheilds.  I picked up all three new sets yesterday at Toys
R Us and I'm pretty impressed.  Tho I wish that there were more sets including a
small set.

So what do you guys think?  I really like the Rogue Knight Battleship set (well I like the boat). The gargoyle bridge and mistlands tower are pretty cool too.  I like the new colors for armor and helmets bronze flecked and silver flecked (similar to the vikings) and grey flecked.  The minifigs are not as bright and toyish looking as previous Knight's Kingdom sets.  I am particurally impressed with the designs of the minifigs and their gear.  There are new BURP peices that are made of green and silver plastic.  Overall I'm very happy.  some of the designs for smaller bits (battering ram in the bridge, and the fort in the ship) seem like they were thrown together real quick or were more elaborate and were then reduced to lower the parts count.  but that is my biggest complaint.   My only minifig complaint are that there is no printing on the minifig's torso's but that is offset by the fact that each minifig (except the blacksmith) has an armor peice.

I never was able to overcome the colour switch so these are too bley for me to buy, but I'm glad to hear someone is enjoying them. God Bless, Nathan Visit my brickshelf gallery: (URL) (pic=link) (18 years ago, 6-Jul-06, to lugnet.castle, FTX)
