Vikings - Prototype vs. Final comparisons?

I finally got a chance to see the Viking boxes up close and personal at the local Toys 'R Us. I'm both excited and disappointed at the same time. I think this will probably be the first time in years that I buy the whole line of Castle toys, but (...) (19 years ago, 24-Oct-05, to lugnet.castle)

I recently fell in love with Mike's BrickFa armature. It's so simple, yet so complex. That armature you can see (URL) HERE>.   Re: Drachenschlaf: Castle of the Sleeping Dragon

(...) Thanks for your comments, all! I have experimented with using old and new light grey together, and I have to say I just don't like it (yet). I think I'll need to play a bit more with it.   Re: Odin slays Ymir the frost giant

I will separate it into two true 8x8 bases, one for Ymir, one for Odin. Fair? Buri was the first man. His son Bor married Bolthor's daughter of the frost giants. I looked at your vignette and got started! Since I didn't read straight through my handy manual of Norse Myths, I have to use the index. Ah, here it is: Odin, eye lost by: page 15.
