  Re: 5 new vignettes

(...) Hey Nelson, I think all of these are interesting, but I think the Misc/Art one is my favorite. The boxing vignette made me thing of Raging Bull, I wonder if you could make a black and white version. Anyway, great job. -Keith (...) Last weekend (Feb. 19-21) IndyLUG had a display at the Child & Parent Expo in Indianapolis at the Indiana State Fairgrounds. We had three sections to the layout: Town/train, Space and Castle. Most of our club's shows are train oriented, but this (...)   Re: A spiral staircase

Anthony, great work! It's simple in it's design, not becoming bulky, and it's not too difficult to build (considering you have the right bricks :-). It makes you wonder why Lego it self never came up with this idea. It would be interesting to see (...) (20 years ago, 26-Feb-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.general)

  A spiral staircase

While grading the contest entries in the CCC2, I cam across (URL) Lord Mikal's Sweetie Pie Bakery>. Mikal turned the stairs in the backery one turn using what I thought was a 3x3 facet brick, which gave me the idea to go full circle, so to speak. It (...)   Re: Vikings?

(...) Shouldn't we also just go straight ahead and remind everyone (including LEGO!) vikings DID not have horns as part of their helmets. But I guess the horns are to the recognition of the minifig as viking what the castle is to the playability of (...) (20 years ago, 25-Feb-05, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Vikings?

snip (...) Well, I just read on <www.eurobricks.com> that vikings are only going to be sold in Europe.   Re: New!

New stuff just in… Possibly the best set ever! (URL) now that the Vikings appear not to be as kewl as their original promos, (due to the lack of beards and simplification of the sets with tones of catapults that weren’t originally there) this set, (...)
