  interesting question....

I was putting together a 4811 defense archer, and the thought hit me... why, if the archer has a quiver, is his head affixed to his body??? to me it would be easier to have his head seperate so you could "assemble" him quicker... (maybe the (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: interesting question....

(...) I am pretty sure that minifig heads are placed onto minifig torsos by machine during production. You will see on all minifig 'necks' a distinct black marking indicating the front of the minifig that the machine sensors can 'read.' That way, (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Caèr-Lwyrin

Denix, The castle looks great! The way you've built the model it looks like the island was there first and the castle was built onto the rocks at a later date. The simple color screen really makes the castle look sturdy and unassailable. It would be (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

I tried this last night, and came up with something that looks OK. I posted some LDraw images to Brickshelf: (URL) second and third images are color-coded; the dark grey parts are 1x2 plates with 1 stud and the blue is a 1x1 tile. The third and (...) (23 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)
