Hi there !

This is my first posting here and it's to present my first real castle :
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=10339

This castle takes part of a realm I'm building and I'll describe later in a
dedicated web site.

Regards,
Denix

P.S:
Sorry the language. I'm french and it's really hard for me to speak english.

(...) Denis, For starters, that is as complete of a model as I've seen in a long time. You carefully laid out the terrain, and it was an immediate eye-catcher. I like how the inside is realistic, and by that I mean one gets from level 1 to level 2 (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Denix, Your castle is amazing, I'm so impressed with the little details you added; the rocks in the sea, the foilage, the balcony railing. The dock is a nice touch, too. Thanks, George (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) I agree with Pawel; very well thought out. I like the rocky-ness of the terrain, and how it's also found *inside* the castle walls. Plus, I like the way you made everything accessible. I've tried to integrate baseplates into my MOCS as floor (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) asymmetrical layout and the roof and wall shaping make it look very realistic. Your big access panels are very well-done as well. -- Tony Hafner www.hafhead.com (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

Very nice Denix! A sturdy looking stronghold you've built yourself, I like how you used the BURPS, I would like to do something similar, but I don't think I have enough yet. Nice detail lik ethe use of the small dark grey bricks as rocks outside the (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) Salut! (...) C'est super, ton chateau! Par le nom je dirai qu'il est du Pays de Gales ou l'Irlande... mais il faut voir toute l'histoire sur ta page. Le p'tit port est mignon! (...) C'était parfait. Ton anglais est mieux que mon italien! ;-) (...) (22 years ago, 5-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.loc.fr)

Denix, The castle looks great! The way you've built the model it looks like the island was there first and the castle was built onto the rocks at a later date. The simple color screen really makes the castle look sturdy and unassailable. It would be (...) (22 years ago, 6-Feb-02, to lugnet.castle)
