Actually I was going to offer $5 for the bucket (it had a $10 sticker on it)
but instead simply asked "what do you want for the LEGOs?". The reply was
"$2" - sold! Didn't matter what was in it, for $2 I'll buy anything.

I thought about selling it as I am not a Castle person at all. I have a
grand total of two castle sets (actually that isn't true, I have about 40
copies of 6024 out in my garage) - the Yellow Castle and the Classic Guarded
Inn[1]. After I built it I decided to keep it simply because it is
different and a true LEGO "classic". If someone offered me a rediculous
amount of money for it (or a 7740 InterCity Train) I might let it go!

[1] I bought the Guarded Inn primarily to show my support LEGO Direct and
their efforts to release classic sets.

Of course I passed up on calling someone in the UK up about a 7740 for less than $100, someone out there probably got a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Sep-01, to lugnet.harrypotter, lugnet.castle)
