  Re: Is this for real?

(...) It wouldn't shock me. But, if you look at the castle front, it is 32 studs (regular) across the front of the tan baseplate. That'd make it something like 48 studs across the whole front. That seems quite big to me. (mind you, it is a $130-150 (...) (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Announcing the MOCC

My Own Castle Competition. We are hereby happy to announce the official castle-building competition for the Castle Room at BrickFest 2004. The competition is pretty straightforward, but a lot can be done with it. It is the hope of the BrickFest 2004 (...)   Re: TOWER CASTLE

Awesome! Terrific details there. I guess I might have preferred the highlights/details in black rather than white, but that's a matter of personal taste rather than building skill. Would love to see more pic of course, is there an interior? Magnus (20 years ago, 31-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Is this for real?

(...) One of the things that made me question it are the figs. Those are NOT Duplo figs as we know them.... BUT then I saw the new Duplo sets on S@H - well see for yourself: (URL) -- check the fig standing. So it looks like Lego is changing MORE (...)   Re: Is this for real?

(...) Yes, and how big the margin would be. It could quite easily be real DUPLO, designed to compete with the Fisher-Price Castle. As far as its not having "LEGO" on the studs, most of them look hollow as DUPLO tends to be; furthermore, those (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Is this for real?

(...) It looks like Tyco. No LEGO on the studs you can see, and what looks like 1/2 thickness plates. This could be a construct using a variety of bits & pieces (megablocks, Tyco, Lego), but I don't think it is lego, and I really doubt Duplo. Think (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: who wants to buy my whole collection

(...) First of all, this should be in the .market hierarchy, if it's serious. Second of all, you need more specific information that that. Photos, inventories, and so forth would help; at that, why not open a BrickLink shop, where you will get the (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle)

  Re: Medieval Windmill

(...) We'll see I guess. If it burns out in a few days, that's bad. If it lasts several 100 hours, that's good neough for me. I'll post if (when) it dies. (...) This is determined by the miller. These old style mills (unlike electric power (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: who wants to buy my whole collection

(...) Let me tell you something about College. If you can't get at least $1,000-$2,000 for your collection, I wouldn't bother selling it, it won't make a dent in the debt you're going to accrue, unless you stay at home and get all your meals free, (...)   Re: who wants to buy my whole collection

(...) I love collages. I have atleast 2 in my room. One is of racecars, the other is of pirate ships. I used to hate when I had to make them for school, cutting up magazines, pasting it together. I was never good at scissors, because I am (...) (20 years ago, 30-May-04, to lugnet.castle)
