I'd also like to say I still love lego but am not allowed any more to do it so i
still lurk and well i want others to have great collections like mine was and I
need to save money for collage Cause my parents cant afford to send me when I
graduate so make me an offer on here and i'll email or post you back

First of all, this should be in the .market hierarchy, if
   it's serious.

Second of all, you need more specific information that that.
Photos, inventories, and so forth would help; at that, why
not open a BrickLink shop, where you will get the best
   possible price for each piece?

Third, what do you mean, "am not allowed any more to do it?"
Who is prohibiting you?  That seems a bit silly, given the
wondrous constellation of things that 18-year-old guys often
get into.  (This, by the way, is something I point out every
time anyone casts even the slightest aspersion on my hobby.)

Fourth, get an FAFSA from the Financial Aid office of whatever
college you are accepted into; they will help you take out the
loans you need.  If you are going to anything other than a
Community College, you will rack up at least $20,000 (that's
right, two-and-four-zeroes) per year in costs.  Selling as
small a collection as it sounds like you have is not going to
put much of a dent in that.  If you *are* going to a Community
College, loans will be smaller and easier to get.  If your
parents really can't afford to send you, you should be eligible
for Pell grants and subsidized (that is, no interest) loans
with no problem.  But Anthony's right.

And fifth, finally, I do hope you're not going into any
major that requires advanced composition skills, or else you
may have a lot of extra coursework to catch up on that will
   add semesters to your time-to-degree.

   all best
