  Re: hey

(...) Just a question, have you shown your parents this site, or brickshelf? And then show them user bio pages, where it shows the age, maybe they'll lighten up a bit on the babyish thing. Anyways the new organization for castle is (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

(...) gears and clutches for that. I've tried a crude version locking differential boxes together, and driving off the gears on the ends though. Okay, two ways to get a simple two-shaft concentric drive: The first is, as mentioned above, use a (...) (21 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic, FTX)

Re: Motion considerations when RCXing The Improved and New Old Miller Gustav's Post Mill

(...) Much snippage. Getting a powered axle through a turntable is a non-issue. Getting two through it is another thing, although not hard to do. I think the best implementation of such a device is in Jennifer Clark's fine JCB: (URL) under the (...) (21 years ago, 3-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.technic)

Re: The Improved and New Old Miller Gustav's Post Mill

(...) It turns out we both misunderstood Anthony here, he wasn't talking about the skirt at the front (he succesfully added a skirt to his model, see: (URL) ) I believe that with "ledge" Anthony he was refering to a kind af balcony or gangway at the (...)   Re: The Improved and New Old Miller Gustav's Post Mill

(...) I'll buy that. What I did was spotted one that didn't have the front hanging down lower (after seeing a lot that did) and assumed, "no skirt". Functionally if all the sides hang down would that (aerodynamically) do exactly the same thing. Not (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: The Improved and New Old Miller Gustav's Post Mill

(...) (URL) for the record, Larry, I'm. not sure I agree with you. If you take a close look to the picture (note the shadows) you would find that this mill has a skirt, and that this particular instance is only exeptional for the fact that the side (...) (21 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Oh NO!!! Blacksmith Shop SOLD OUT in North America

(...) Yeah, I think I got one of the last ones a couple of weeks ago -- after I got it, and discovered how cool it was, I went to go order another, and: denied. (21 years ago, 1-Feb-04, to lugnet.castle)

Motion considerations when RCXing The Improved and New Old Miller Gustav's Post Mill

Still more snippage. With sone new crossposts! (...) Im not so keen on motor wires if they can be avoided. I'm thinking that if you were clever you could have as much rotation as you like, because you could house the motors in the base. Use a (...)
