Re: Winery, Artist Studio, and a Lil' Armory

Well done, Lenny, they are certainly enjoyable. The interiors live up to the promise of the exteriors. < envy > And I'm impressed at the number of arched windows that you possess. < /envy > I gotta start making some buildings! Alan (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Frogzards!

(...) Ugly! But in a cute sort of way. ;) So, are these things carnivores? Anyway, I like 'em even if I know nothing about the game. A whole phalanx of them would look quite intimidating. Alan (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) If you drop it, it will break. ;) Also, if kids were to play with it with the usual gusto that goes with Lego I wouldn't put money on it lasting too long. However, it can be handled reasonably, and as seen in this view: (URL) holds it's pose (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) Yup, the whole neck structure is the Achilles Heel as far as presentation is concerned. I'm going to post some alternates. One that's before me now offers even more movement up/down, so I may stick with that. My first attempt was truly ugly -- (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) My current problem for joints is parts selection. I don't have the 2 & 3 fingered hinge plates that would be needed for the other approach I'd envisioned. I think they would work well, but I'm not sure if the length of the legs would be too (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  Frogzards!

Hello! Just yesterday I was playing (URL) AdventureQuest> and I decided I would make a creature from the amazingly addictive yet senseless game. I had also been quite absorbed in castle related stuff (though I almost have very few castle themed (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc, FTX)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) Its not ugly, just colorful! Actually i think it looks rather cool and alot more useful than the molded ones. I think if the colors were the same, it would look pretty good and i could verify that if i wasnt sitting over 150 miles from my (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

hello! (...) I always appreciate things that are built with bricks rather than using one big molded piece. So you earn a laud for this in any case. And well, your horse is not pretty but I wouldn't go so far and say it's ugly. Particularly the gap (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

Re: Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

(...) Did you consider a lot of possibilities for joints? It might be useful to have a collection of ugly ideas, who knows, they might turn up in more beautiful places? I like the 1x2 plate with bar for muounting legs, that seems really useful. I (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.build)

  an e-mail I received...from Fred Carangue III

Hi. I received an e-mail from an enthusiast who couldn't post to LUGNET. He asked if I would post it for him. I'm sorry for not posting it sooner. :( This is what he wanted me to post: "Havn't posted in a long time, been busy making castles. (URL) (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

Posable Horse Minifig Scale (or close enough)

Well, it isn't pretty..... Okay, it's down-right ugly.... But I hope you'll agree that has more to do with the riot of colours rather than the actual design. I've built a posable horse. It's slightly larger than the standard Lego horse, but it is (...) (21 years ago, 14-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.announce.moc, lugnet.build)

  Re: RedWine Tavern

(...) Wow this is cool. I love it. The in has nice detail out side and in. Olny thing you really cant see the inside that good in the pics. The booth thing outside with the Black Falcons in it is Trey awsome. Thats right I said trey. Dan Ravenda (21 years ago, 13-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle)

  RedWine Tavern

Hi everybody!!! I would like to share with you my last MOC. It's the RedWine Tavern. The tavern of a modular medieval town I'm working on. (URL) Please, suggestions and comments are wellcome.... (positive or negative).... In this MOC I have tested (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle) !!

  Re: MOC: Green Wizard

(...) I love Thandarr the Barbarian! Thanks for the compliments. I realized later a dino head on the mantle didn't really fit with a kind and gentle life-loving wizard. Maybe it was some demon he slew. Who knows? Felix (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

  Re: Castle World is dead.

Not finished with my Ancients Theme project, it'll take a while. I've even created a 2025 Theme into my whole collection, but even that isn't finished either. (URL) have more Ancients Theme soldiers though, its not just the Medes Persian ones as I (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle.org.cw)

  Re: MOC: Green Wizard

Felix, this is great as it is, but with a little re-tooling this could be an awesome post-holocaust moc. It smacks of Thundarr the Barbarian, and specifically the wizard Gemini's tower. Dig the time/gate aparatus, and the dino head over the (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Winery, Artist Studio, and a Lil' Armory

(...) Now THATS what I'm talking about! Its a tough life for the castle minifig, always under attack, or beset by famine, plague and the undead. Finally a little relief (comic and otherwise) for the medieval man. I loved the shot of the guy running (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Winery, Artist Studio, and a Lil' Armory

Hi Lenny, These are wonderful. Great details like the bunk bed, easel, stiring the wine, the skinny beds, etc. I also think the winery opens in a unique way. Great job! Ben (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Winery, Artist Studio, and a Lil' Armory

(...) (URL) right here! Anyway, after that moc plug, I'm loving the winery, Lenny. Great idea, i know none of my suggestions would have included that. Maybe being in wall would keep it from the grape fields but maybe, a brewery. It's easier i'd (...) (21 years ago, 12-Sep-03, to lugnet.castle, FTX)

Re: Winery, Artist Studio, and a Lil' Armory

(...) I ain't gonna lie. This is the 2nd time I chickened out on the Brothel. Originally, my Red Oak Inn was gonna be a brothel, and yeah, this one look perfect for the part. never fear Keith, the next Moc will be a the "Goldman Brothel" complete (...)
