Re: Loyal to .castle? [ROLL CALL]

(...) We did just do this at Brickfest ("we" in the loose sense as I was not there). There was a walled town in the Castle room where different people brought modules that all fit together. As it turns out, one person built all of the actual walls (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Medevil Marketplace (A Common Castle Builders Project)

(...) One reminder since people didn't think about it with the castle town: Make sure your creation is entirely within the 16x16 area, except that it may hang over the street some. Frank (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

In lugnet.castle, Steven McDonough writes: ... (...) Well then. Why don't Castlers take a cue from Spacers and build MOCs of things they have seen in films, books, and other media. In .space I have seen models of SW, ST, and Red Dwarf ships, etc. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

(...) (8) Steve McDonough - Who does not care and never will about the "real" size of any imaginary Star Wars, Star Trek, or other spaceship, but who cares about medieval weapons bludgering people who actually argue this. On another note, I think it (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Medevil Marketplace (A Common Castle Builders Project)

(...) Yes, the marketplace would be on a street or road. You can build your stand to be literally just a stand, or it can be a building multiple stories tall. The road idea means we can connect our market stands together when we would meet at (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Loyal to .castle? [ROLL CALL]

(...) I am! :) I really dont know what all of the fuss is about. I think that in the last couple of months I have made and posted a few decent creations (although they are cad renderings (because I do not have my LEGO at college) - which are not (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: Loyal to .castle? [ROLL CALL]

(...) I'd just like to add my nearly 300,000 bricks to the crushing defeat of all other themes. Castle is in my opinion the best, most fun theme to build in. I have been working on a large scale Castle project for a bit now, the theme has been my (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: we need some "pod" rivals

This idea is great! "I fully endorse it. Let's try it at once" (Nightmare before Christmas) (...) I would suggest not putting too many restrictions on building. Just call it a 16x16 plot with one or two street faces, and one back alley face. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)

Re: we need some "pod" rivals

(...) I really like this idea. Not sure what you mean by "corner" though, do you mean the stand is a corner stand so that there are two sides of it open to the shoppers instead of just one? I would think 16x16 would be a more natural LEGO plot size. (...) (22 years ago, 18-Oct-02, to lugnet.castle)
